Volunteer Opportunities

Our needs are many. Hospice of Queen Anne’s has exciting volunteer opportunities.

Direct Patient Care - This provides respite for the caregiver and companionship for the patient. Helping with chores, running errands and assisting with transportation also supports the family.

Patient Wing - At the Residence Center we always need assistance with cooking, baking, laundry, light housekeeping, and shopping for the patients in the Center.

Office/Clerical Assistance - Administrative help in our office, such as computer, telephone, filing, copying and other clerical work is needed and appreciated.

Bereavement - Aiding our families in adjusting to the loss of a loved one is another way of supporting the families and the Center

Lawn Care and Landscaping - Every year we seek out volunteers to help service our lawn and garden areas. We also need help in planting and maintaining the flowers and herbs at the Center.

Estate Treasurers - This is our upscale resale shop where volunteers operate the store six days a week, selling clothing and house wares. Much of our revenue comes from the efforts of their wonderful work.

Community Education Volunteers – Our way of sharing unique experiences with local groups and organizations. Volunteers are needed to discuss our services.
