Hospice Volunteers
Year after year, hospice volunteers contribute their personal time and share in the commitment to provide a host of services to patients, families, staff and the community. Volunteers visit patients, provide respite for caregivers, prepare meals for Hospice Center patients, and assist in grief care and support.
Hospice of Queen Anne's has a variety of non-patient related volunteer opportunities to consider, each with its own special requirements and orientation such as: preparing mailings, updating databases and answering the phone; hosting community events and speaking on behalf of Hospice of Queen Anne's; and coordinating an event or serving on an event committee.
All volunteers, no matter the area in which they serve, make a big difference in the lives of patients, families and staff.

- I believe Shea is so good in his role as a hospice volunteer therapy dog because he is grateful for being rescued. He loves visiting hospice patients.
