Most people prefer to live their final months at home, but for some residents of Queen Anne’s and surrounding counties, that is not always possible. Hospice of Queen Anne’s has a six-bed hospice center located on Maryland’s Eastern Shore designed for comfort, privacy and with families in mind. It’s a home away from home with 24-hour staffing and managed by a nurse certified in hospice and palliative care.

The peaceful environment offers private rooms and baths, patios, a serenity garden, screened gazebo and horses grazing in the neighbor’s pasture. Family members can rest in their loved one’s room, relax in front of the fireplace in the living room, or share a meal around the large dining room table. Most important is that individuals can experience that home-like environment and families feel secure in knowing their loved one is being cared for in the best possible way.

The Hospice Center welcomes individuals in need from Queen Anne’s, Kent, Caroline, Talbot and Anne Arundel counties.
