About Us

Since 1985, Compass Regional Hospice has been dedicated to supporting people in our community through the challenge of living with a serious illness. What began as an all-volunteer organization, has since developed into a visionary, state-of-the-art organization recognized locally, regionally and statewide for its excellence.

In addition to our hospice and palliative care programs, we offer bereavement support that provides support for patients and their families, and members of the community who have lost a loved one.

In addition to in-home care, our residential hospice centers serve as a comfortable, home-like, and medically supportive alternative for patients who need around-the-clock care.

Compass Regional Hospice is a fully licensed, independent, community-based nonprofit organization certified by Medicare and the state of Maryland and accredited by the Joint Commission. It is affiliated with the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization and the Hospice & Palliative Network of Maryland.
